The Challenge

The KEGE Center for ADHD in Arizona, a specialist clinic for ADHD and related disorders, needed to improve its digital intake process. Although they already used digital forms, they were:

  • Overly long and difficult to complete
  • Lacking conditional logic, showing too many irrelevant questions
  • Inefficient in collecting meaningful data
  • Particularly challenging for patients with ADHD

This created frustration for both patients and healthcare providers, increased prep time for visits, and slowed down the creation of Clinical Notes.

Our Solution

Led by Keith Getic, founder of the KEGE Center, we helped redesign and implement a patient-friendly digital intake system fully integrated with their DrChrono EHR.

  1. Form Redesign

    • Broke long forms into manageable sections
    • Introduced dynamic forms for parents and teachers of younger patients
    • Added essential consent forms
  2. Conditional Logic

    • Displayed only relevant questions based on patient profile and visit type
    • Reduced form fatigue and completion time
  3. EHR Integration

    • Created custom EHR fields for automated data transfer
    • Enabled pre-filled Clinical Notes based on form responses
  4. Notifications

    • Automated reminders via email and SMS to complete forms
